I am using Vista Basic Operating system:Windows Vista Home Basic (32 bit) Service Pack 2 System root: C:\Windows Available physical memory: 1013 MB CPU: Intel® Celeron® M CPU 430 @ 1.73GHz Drive Info: C: 31.89 GB D: 465.76 GB Internet Explorer: 9.0
WiseCleaner Posted October 17, 2013 Report Posted October 17, 2013 1, make sure the Volume Shadow Copy service is running.click Start---type services.msc and press Enter, find out and double-click Volume Shadow Copy, modify its startup type to Automatic, click Start to run this service. click OK to save settings.2, right-click Computer on desktop, click Properties---Advanced system settings----Advanced----Performance----Settings-----Data Execution Prevention, select Turn on DEP for essential Windows and services only. click OK to save settings. 3, check your extenal hard disk for errors. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-vista/Check-your-hard-disk-for-errors 4, disable anti-virus software before backup.
