Hi,

1, check the Black Ink Cartridge whether is empty

2, Actually Canon Pixma 560 cannot print black ink alone. But you can set it to print gray text.

    Click Start----Devices and printer, right-click Canon MP560, click Printing Preferences---Main, mark Grayscale Printing checked, press OK to save and exit.
