windows media player

Can't open windows media player. I tryed to uninstall and install and it doesn't work.

Also Dvix player stops working, but then I reinstall it and it work again.

What can I do to restore the w.m.p.?

1, Control Panel---Programs---Programs and Features----Turn Windows features on or off, 

    Unchecked the Media Features.

2, Reboot system

    Selected the Media Features.
