  1. Here is the Windows message I get EVERY time I have tried to shut down my older Dell desktop running Vista Business. I also might add that when I check on the "help" links that are so helpfully included...there is NO help there.

  2. Older Dell desktop computer running Vista Business. Computer cannot be shut down--whenever I try to shut down this computer I get the blue screen, and the Windows sign-on screen comes up and I get the "windows recovered from an unexpected shutdown." Then, when I request help...the dialog box checks for a couple of seconds and disappears with no answer. When I request the details of the problem...it is always the same--as shown in the screenshot image I have copied.

  3. I have an older Dell desktop computer running Vista. It has virus and ad protection and is up to date with all Windows updates, software, drivers, etc. For some reason, EVERY time I try to shut the computer down, it will not shut down--I get the Blue Screen and it goes to the Windows logon screen.This has been going on for months now and I can't figure out what the problem is. HELP!
