nivlem
I put a blank cd or dvd in holder and the computer does not recognise there is a disk, yet in device manager it is showing the drive and that it is working properly plus the drivers are up to date. Operating system:Windows 7 Professional (64 bit) Service Pack 1 System root: C:Windows Available physical memory: 1996 MB CPU: Intel® Core2 Duo CPU E8400 @ 3.00GHz Drive Info: C: 148.91 GB Internet Explorer: 11.
xilolee
It could be useful to know what machine (laptop or desktop? Manufacturer and model of it) you are using (to retrieve the manufacturer and model and drivers of your cd/dvd drive). Read this MS article (and try its solutions if you think they could help) Your CD or DVD drive is not recognized by Windows or other programs
