application installation

dear sir,

 

I am not able to install some applications such as Adobe 11 etc as windows prompts \" window installation service is not available.

kindly advise solution.

[the windows installation service 3.1 is also not installaling]

Hello,

Please follow the following steps to fix the issue.

1. Press "Win+R" or "start - run".

2. Type "gpedit.msc" to open Group Policy Object Editor

3. Go to "Local Compture Policy - Computer Configuration - Adiministrative Templates - Windows Installer - Disable Windows installer".

4. Double-click "Disable Windows Installer".

5. Change the settings to "Disable" and click "OK" button to save the changes.

6. Reboot your PC.
