marvin
The driver for the sound card disappears after pc shutdown. I re-install it and I have sound again. Shut down, and it\'s gone....no sound anymore. It\'s a sound blaster card, and the driver is one that came with my Win XP home addition. Any ideas? Other than wiping the hard drive and re-installing XP?

WiseCleaner
1, Uninstall Sound Blaster Card's driver, download a latest one from its official website, and re-install it. 2, You may need to install Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 or newer. 3, Update XP.
