neil Posted February 15, 2014 Report Share Posted February 15, 2014 Hi there, a few days ago i put in some addons then decided to take them out and in doing so java script went down . Ive re installed java script and it says it is enabled but when it comes to playing videos on you tube nothing happens and even in some web sites it won't work either . i don't what else to do ? I have windows vista home basic 2 gig ram and the computer is approx 7 yrs old compaq presario . I did a system restore twice and each time it failed so something is blocking it. The internet security program that i have is nortons 360 which is not the cheap version . UCanFixIt Posted February 15, 2014 Report Share Posted February 15, 2014 Hi Neil, It sounds like you might have removed the flash player add-on from whatever browser you are using. Please understand that Oracle Java is a completely different program and it is not required to view YouTube videos. In fact, I do not have it installed and I can view all YouTube videos just fine. With that said, please go here and download the Adobe Flash Player: Adobe Flash Player Make sure you uncheck the optional McAfee offer before downloading. Good luck.
