Try:

1) Reset MSIE to its default settings: tools, internet options, advanced tab, reset.

2) Download adwcleaner portable (click) and run it.

3) Download wise care 365 portable (click), extract it and put it on your desired/preferred folder.

4) Create a system restore point (or let it create by WiseCare365, it should ask it to you the first time you run it)

5) Double left-click wisecare365.exe, click custom checkup, select/tick all entries (or the entries that you prefer), click ok, click checkup now, wait until the scan finishes, check the results, untick the ones you are not sure to fix, click fix now.

6) Click the third tab at top: system tuneup

On the left, click the fourth tab: startup manager

Remove unnecessary items (keep enabled antivirus and processor items)

7) Launch sfc /scannow from an elevated command prompt (and wait that it finishes). If it shows errors, show them here.

8) (if you have BSODs, skip this) Defrag your hard disks (it may take hours... Try first the OS partition only).
