jazz Posted November 11, 2013 Report Share Posted November 11, 2013 Unable to launch Task Manager, even when using Ctrl/Alt/Delete or when in the start menu choosing "Run" and using the msconfig directory. In msconfig, when trying to launch the program it says that the program cannot be found. Can you please help? xilolee Posted November 11, 2013 Report Share Posted November 11, 2013 Hi jazz! 1) Try: click start click run type: cmd (press enter) In the black window, type: sfc /scannow (press enter) Wait until it finishes --- it needs about half hour 2) Download and use these softwares:adwcleaner (clic)superantispyware free (clic)sophos virus removal tool free (clic)MBAM free (clic)stinger 32 bit (clic)MS Safety Scanner 32 bit (clic) 3) Download and install Wise PC 1st Aid (click) and choose the option to restore your windows task manager.
