Lucy Posted November 11, 2013 Report Share Posted November 11, 2013 1. Confirm physical network connection is normal or not. . 2. Computer IP address set to automatically obtain. 3. Run CMD.exe program, enter ipconfig, check the IP information is correct or not. 4. Enter ping www.google.com and check if that access to the information or not. Check the dns client inside your windows xp services: click start click run type services.msc (click enter) find dns client, between all the services its "startup type" should be automatic, its "status" should be started, "log on as" should be Network Service if it is disabled, enable it. if it is stopped, start it.
