instalation of xp sp3 muffled my sound.

 

Soune is muffles and sounds like coming from a tube. volume is very low as well.

Run What.????  Realtek Audio doesnt have anything like that.  If it does, I'm going to need a lot of instructions.  sound still muffled.

other than Realtek Audio, I don't know. .  how does one find out.? What sound card is in here....????

Right click My computer------click Manage-----Device manager, find out and expand Sound, video and game controllers

Make a snapshot and send to us.

a what.?   snapshot.?  Whats that.?   how do I do that.?    By the way, your not taliking to a computer wizz here.  I'm a rookie.  I Think I did what you said,  and on that list it shows:

 

Sound and Game controlers.

       Audio codecs

       Legacy Audio Drivers

       Video capture devices

       Media control Devices

       Realtek High Definition Audio

       Video Codecs

then the next catagory.  

Hope this helps, as I have no idea...  sorry.

If you can find out the motherboard driver disc, reinstall the sound card driver.

If no, download the driver from Realtek website:http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsCheck.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=24&PFid=24&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false

I tried that dwnload thing.

after about 10 minutes waiting, then It said it cant display that page.

I must have some kind of freak morphadite.  It didnt like that one either.   after about 10 minutes of attempting to load, it then gave me this.

 

Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage.

If you ever need any model Railroad advise or info. Please let me know.  I am a very experinced Railroad Modeler.  My layout in my basement has 125 locomotives, over 500 freight cars 26 passenger cars, 8 cities and a complete refinery.  It takes 22 guys to fully operate my railroad on an operating night.   thanks again for the help.
