sanjay210 Posted June 29 Report Posted June 29 IT team was migrating Exchange Online Public Folders to Microsoft 365, but they were worried that employees would have to stop working during the process. Since many departments depended on shared folders every day, long downtime was not an option. The team started the synchronization process while employees continued using the existing public folders as usual. Throughout the day, staff could still read emails, access shared information, and complete their work. Before finishing the migration, the IT team performed one final synchronization to copy the latest changes that had been made during the day. To add an extra layer of safety, they had already backed up the public folders using SysInfo Office 365 Backup & Restore Software. This gave them confidence that all important mailbox data was protected. As a result, the migration was completed with very little disruption, and employees were able to continue working almost the entire time.
