Justallen Posted August 23, 2013 Report Share Posted August 23, 2013 When I try to get into prinyers and faxes and try to select a printer I get a message that the printer spool is not turned on. I cannot get into add new hardware in control panel. Operating system:Microsoft Windows XP (32 bit) Service Pack 3 System root: C:\WINDOWS Available physical memory: 1655 MB CPU: Intel® Pentium® 4 CPU 2.80GHz Drive Info: C: 76.34 GB D: 19.00 GB Internet Explorer: 8.0 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Click Start---Run---type services.msc and press Enter---find out Printer Spooler and double-click it. Set Startup type as Automatic Click OK to save and close window.
