INTL
not 1, but 2 instances of "Taskengine.exe" listed under Image Name, with Description Task Scheduler Engine are in Windows Task Manager, Processes tab. Never seen before, aside from 15 yrs ago, but, i have a notion that they aren't supposed to be present. Any idea what could be causing them. your assistance is appreciated MS Security Essentials Emsisoft Ant-iMalware Operating system:Windows 7 Enterprise (32 bit) Service Pack 1 System root: C:Windows Available physical memory: 3549 MB CPU: Intel® Pentium® 4 CPU 3.00GHz Drive Info: C: 325.95 GB D: 491.33 GB E: 440.18 GB G: 195.21 GB H: 292.97 GB K: 443.23 GB Internet Explorer: 11.
terry
Hello, The windows Task Scheduler Engine is "Taskeng.exe" and you can file the file in c:\windows\system32. So I think "Taskengine.exe" is not a good application, you may delete it from your PC.
