Windows Desktop Icons are covered over by a black square. Custom icons un-affected.

Black Squares are a Re-occuring issue with the 'Windows' Desktop Icons. The problem seemed to have started just after I installed WIN 7 Pro, about a year ago. The biggest issue, that I have is that I can fix them temorarily (Wise PC 1stAid DID fix the issue without a problem until I re-booted) then the black squares are back. I am concerned that there is a potential treat lurking. Especially since they have double the power to CERN. Well, its not the issue with my icons, I'm sure.

Thanks 4 your help.
