  1. Good call adding the "x" to Wisetray.exe. Every time that portion of the program started, it took up about 40 percent of my CPU. I'd run it if it weren't for the resource hogging.
  2. I have tried just about everything I can think of, but am unable to burn a simple CD or DVD. I've used 3 or 4 different types of burning software. All of them claim that my CD was burned, but when I re-insert the disk, it's empty. I have even tried swapping in a known-good DVD burner, but the results are the same, which leads me to believe it's a software issue. Here are some other things I have tried: updated the driver, uninstalled then re-installed the device, ran "sfc /scannow" but no files are corrupted, and ran a couple different "Windows Fixit" modules from Microsoft. It seems I have done everything short of re-installing Windows, which I really don't want to do. Any suggestions?
