How to automatically close Chrome & IE during autoclean? I have automatically Wise 365 running and the program stops and asks me to allow the program to close Chome or IE in order to clean their caches. Can the program to close Chrome and IE on its own, or ignore?

So I open Wise care 365.  It tells me there are updates.  I click the download button and it takes me to wise care 365 webpage.  I download the Wise Care 365 executable from the main wise care 365 web page, run it, install it, and start it.  I open Wise Care 365 and it tells me there are updates available.  Rinse and repeat like 50 fucking times.  The application version that I have 4.7.4.457.  The latest version available (according to the site and the application) is 4.7.5.  Finally through many trial and error attempts (your very welcome), I was able to find out that selecting Wise care 365 from products "drop down menu" at the top of the web page, which takes you to
    https://www.wisecleaner.com/wise-care-365.html
The executable which is downloaded by clicking the "download" button is for version 4.7.4.  However, simply clicking the products "drop down menu" itself, which takes you to
    https://www.wisecleaner.com/products.html
will download the actual latest version of Wise Care 365.  Really stupid mistake on the website maintainers part.  The people who maintain the web site probably should fix this asap, as not only is it frustrating to consumers like me, I would be embarrassed of such a simplistic error on my website.

I have now had to reinstall MS edge several times because it seems that after using Wisecare 365 4.61.439 version (after the big windows 10 creator update) it breaks my MS edge over and over again.
After using wisecare all I get is a completely white screen when trying to load egde.
It seems similar to a problem from 2015 in this topic http://forum.wisecleaner.com/index.php?/topic/10825-windows-10-start-menu-broken/?hl=edge&do=findComment&comment=22458
Would be nice not to have to use a workaround for a 2 year old problem that should not be happening.

I use the free version of Wise Care 365 V 4.62 Recently when running it I get a message that states" Google Chrome is running, do you want to close it", even if Chrome is not active. I have tried rebooting the computer to make sure Chrome is not "ON". I have used task manager to look for an active Chrome. Still, everytime I run Wise care I get the message. I have uninstalled the wise care software, and reloaded a freash copy from the web site, still get chrome message.

Google saves visited information in a folder called Favicons
It is probably safe, but when I look into that folder I see lots of private stuff
I think Wise Cleaner should lok into this and correct it if need be.
    Thanks

    To WiseCare Admin and Team,

Please stop offering these slimdown options for Win 7 users of WiseCare365 & Wise Disk Cleaner:

The second image shows the dangerous area that it is cleaning (eg, winsxs):

This cleaning results in the sfc /scannow command showing uncorrectable errors and there is no graceful way to correct them because the winsxs source has been deleted by WiseCare365 or WDC.

Please take immediate action to remove these options for Win 7 users. This issue was reported last year by my2cents and now another user is trying to fix it as well. Please take action immediately on this important issue that is affecting all Win 7 users.

    Best regards,

I cannot believe the forum of WiseCleaner does not know how to get rid of this spamming issue. Not saying a whole lot for the cleaning program. It's glunking up my email box. So I have had to go to my profile here and untick every email option.

I guess if I ask a question I'll just have to come back now and then to see if there is an answer.

Unless someone has another suggestion for stopping these? Never have this on 10's of other forums?

ive just got it today. it replaces the previous wise products such as monitor, disk cleaner and registry cleaner. and so far I like it. the interface is very easy to understand..and even though I didn't request the portable version, I added the regular install mode onto the flash drive.
but one problem, how to not allow program to create a restore point after slimming down?

I would welcome some advice regarding speeding up the boot time for my Windows 10 tablet PC.

    1. Another utility regularly reports my startup time as between 85 and 120 seconds It is far from constant. Wise however normally reports it  as a fairly constant 50 to 55 seconds (which I understand is not bad for my setup). Why the difference and which is likely to be right?

    2. In Wise when I click to speed up start it responds that this must be done manually. How? In the Wise Startup Manager I have experimented with switching on and off nearly all the settings --- about half are currently switched to off (I presume these items are just delayed and will launch a short while later?)  However, this has not affected the startup time reported noticeably, it is always 50 to 55 seconds whatever I do.

    Any advice on this?

So what's the deal with Wise Care 365?  Does it by any chance require, only work on very fast and powerful computers?  Is there a minimum Processor that a computer must have in order for Wise Care 365 to work properly?

Last year when I first tried Wise Care 365, it was on my old Dell GX280 Small Form Factor with only a Pentium 4 processor and either 1 or 2 Gig of RAM running Windows XP Home SP3.  As I recall, as soon as I would try the Registry Cleaner function, my GX280's CPU fan would quickly start spinning at top speed, sounding like a helicopter.  And the scanning would immediately go into a snail's pace crawl to the point that I would quickly have to abort.  Yet, the standalone Wise Registry Cleaner (PortableApps.com version) would scan quickly, without a problem and without remotely making my GX280 break a sweat.

Now that I have a Dell Optiplex 780 with an Intel Core 2 Duo processor with 4 Gig of RAM running Windows XP Pro SP3, the other day I again decided to give Wise Care 365 another shot.  This computer being a much more powerful and quieter computer, the CPU fan does not go into top speed helicopter mode when running a scan with the Registry Cleaner function.  But, the scan does take a noticeably, undeniably LONG time at 4 minutes and 35 seconds!  That while the standalone Wise Registry Cleaner took all of 13 seconds ... and found the SAME 41 items that it took Wise Care 365's Registry Cleaner function 4 minutes and 35 seconds to find.

    So what's going on?
    (1)  Is Wise Care 365 not meant for older, weak Pentium era computers with Windows XP?

    (2)  Why does the Wise Care 365 Registry Cleaner function take wayyy longer to complete a scan vs. the standalone Wise Registry Cleaner ... while finding the same amount of items?  From what I see, I'm tempted to reason that maybe it's that the Wise Care 365 Registry Cleaner function is wayyy more thorough than the standalone Wise Registry Cleaner ... even though ultimately the same amount of items are found by both.  Because it's not like the Wise Care 365 Registry Cleaner function is scanning at a crawl on my Dell Optiplex 780.  No.  I see that it's actually scanning very speedily.  It appears to be checking a lot of something.  Unless it's an optical illusion, I'm tempted to think that the Wise Care 365 Registry Cleaner function scans a ton more Registry Entries than the standalone Wise Registry Cleaner.  I just keep going back to that in the end, ultimately both apps find the same amount of items.  Odd.

    Hi,

I've had a paying Wise Care account for a few years now and run an automatic clean-up every morning at 7 when I'm already online.

For the last week or so the process runs smoothily until it's time to clear up whatever it found during the process, and inevitably it tells me I need to manually clear up cache and cookies.

This was always done automatically until about a week ago.

Is it a glitch or is it intentional?

If the latter you really need to state it somewhere because people are likely to become confused especially if they've been using your software for a while.

    Thank you!
