Ekbergwef reacted to Linkin in How to download YouTube Video For Free?
YouTube only allows users to watch and view videos on their website. Many users want to download their favorite videos to their computer so they can watch them without being connected to the Internet or so they can watch them on other devices. Below are the steps required for downloading and watching YouTube videos on your computer for free.
Go to http://www.wisevideosuite.com to download Wise Video Downloader.
Open any YouTube video page and copy the URL of the video you want to download.
Once this address has been copied, paste that URL into the URL bar and click the Download button.
Of course if you want to play the videos downloaded in multiple devices like your PC, your pad or smart phone. You are gonna need to convert them into different formats that is playable on these devices. Then the Convert feature comes in handy. It is a link to Wise Video Converter, which you can also download from http://www.wisevideosuite.com. The best thing about this converter is you don’t have to choose which format you need to convert into. Just drag and drop the video files to the corresponding big icons of devices, and then click Convert.
Notice: Not all the videos can be downloaded by Wise Video Downloader. Statistics show that more than 80% of the video files can be downloaded by this software. Please keep this software updated. By default, Wise Video Downloader will download the 1280*720 pixel video.

Ekbergwef reacted to UCanFixIt in "Mark Solved" Option Now Available to Members
Hello all members,
The "Mark Solved" option has been activated in the Computer Trouble-Shooting Discussion Board. Now originating posters (OPs) can select their own "Best Answer."
How it works:
Each member response to an originating poster's issue will now include a "Mark Solved" button that can only be seen by the OP (see image1). If a specific response solves the OPs issue, he/she can simply click the Mark Solved button for that specific response and it will automatically do two things:
1. It will update the index to show the OPs issue as "Answered." (see image2)
2. It will add the "Best Answer" to the top of the OPs post. (see image3)
This new feature could really benefit members or guests that are looking for solutions while browsing or searching the Computer Trouble-Shooting Discussion Board.
Note: The Wise Specific Product Boards do not have this feature enabled.

Ekbergwef reacted to rstarre in Vista constanly freezes on my laptop
My laptop with Windows Vista works for a while and then the same problem keeps happening over and over agin for about a year. I get Foxfire or Internet Explorer not responding error message. I have factory restore my laptap at least 20 times this year. I have tried every solution I read about online. And there are at least two dozen supposed reasons why Vista will do this online. Also it seems that many other Vista users are experience the same problem. There has to be a solution to this problem. To many Vista users are experiencing the same problem. Ekbergwef reacted to RodgerOver in Wise Disk Cleaner update and "lighten" the system
Hi,
I have tested Wise Disk Claener for several weeks now and I am very happy with it.
But now a new automatic update was released, and I would like to use this occasion to hint onto two issues:
(1) When the program is updated, it does not save the "exlusion of files" from scanning. This is annoying, as I have a list of allowed cookies in my firefox profile (all other cookies are blocked).
(2) The "lightening of the system" - tab (3rd one; sorry, if the translation is not correct, as I have the French version) allows to remove the photo- / music- and video-samples in the public folders. This is in principle a nice feature, however removing those files leads to the fact that sfc / scannow reports corruption errors (without indicating what they are; I verified with the third party software: SFCfix). Wouldn' it be possible to remove these files without triggering sfc /scannow to report errors ? Because when running sfc / scannow afterwards, one then always needs to verify in a rather complex way, whether the errors / corruptions reported are "only" those resulting from the removal of the sample files in the public folder or whether there are other, more serious, issues.
But as I said, otherwise this is a very nice tool.
Thank you for listening !
Roger

Ekbergwef reacted to rharris270 in Wise Reminder, No Popup
I just installed Wise Reminder, downloaded from the Wise website. There were no errors during the installation, and I set a couple of test reminders for 5 and 10 minutes into the future. At 5 minutes nothing happened. When I checked the status, that reminder had moved from unfinished to completed. I then edited the other reminder to add the default sound. That reminder worked, in that I heard the sound, but I saw no popup. Since I may not be at my computer when the reminder triggers, the sound is not sufficient, and the popup is essential.
Any idea how to get the popup?
I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit with SP-1 and all Microsoft security updates. My antivirus is AVG (paid version). I am logged-in as the same user as when I installed the program. That user has full administrative rights.
Thanks,
Bob
