I´m using hidden folders into another hidden folders.
To open this last folder, i have first to unhide the main folder complete..

Is there a possibility to refresh the folder list after click "open" without "unhide" the hidden main folder permanent?

RichardGora reacted to imurphy in Running WDC portable remotely via psexec doesn't work correctly
I've been playing around with trying to use WDC remotely on machines without pestering the user of the PC and I've noticed what I think is a bug in language handling, and maybe the handling of the config file.

If I run WDC from the screen on a machine it correctly opens in Spanish and displays the options I have selected. I am running the exe from a command prompt and have CD'd to the directory where WDC is stored. So far so good.

However if I use psexec to remotely connect to the same machine and cd to the directory and then type WiseDiskCleaner.exe -a it opens on the console of the machine, but in english. It also displays the notifications about having sucessfully run, which I think I have disabled.

It makes no difference if I connect as the logged in user or as the administrator account, it does exactly the same.

Has anyone tried using WDC via script or psexec, or remote execution of any kind?

This problem can be reproduced by doing the following from your own PC:

    Download psexec from microsoft (www.sysinternals.com)
    Open a cmd window
    psexec -u <localhost>\<local admin> \\<pcname> cmd
once you have the remote command shell open
cd c:\wisediskcleaner\   (or where ever it is)
    wisediskcleaner -a

this will launch the exe remotely but the systray icon displays on the console of the PC, as does the sucess message.

I am happy to help ..The program shows very well and does a good job, in addition to the advice already given memory improvement in cleaning the junk files and registry and repair missing DLL,for future projects do not recommend to integrate a spyware scanning as do many super utility, I find it useless and superficial

I think that some things can be added again

    WFH

At WFH you can add check boxes > so if you want to unhide more file at same time it can be great.

    Wise Care 365

At Wise Care 365 the interface is greater ... but i thinks that with percentages (%) it would be better because time is not always right (time can be left).
At right click can be add something to erase files/folders
    > this can be add also at Recycle Bin

or you can put a box to drag & drop like first picture with WFH.

Older Dell desktop computer running Vista Business. Computer cannot be shut down--whenever I try to shut down this computer I get the blue screen, and the Windows sign-on screen comes up and I get the "windows recovered from an unexpected shutdown." Then, when I request help...the dialog box checks for a couple of seconds and disappears with no answer. When I request the details of the problem...it is always the same--as shown in the screenshot image I have copied.

RichardGora reacted to UCanFixIt in "Mark Solved" Option Now Available to Members
    Hello all members,

The "Mark Solved" option has been activated in the Computer Trouble-Shooting Discussion Board. Now originating posters (OPs) can select their own "Best Answer."

    How it works:

Each member response to an originating poster's issue will now include a "Mark Solved" button that can only be seen by the OP (see image1). If a specific response solves the OPs issue, he/she can simply click the Mark Solved button for that specific response and it will automatically do two things:

    1. It will update the index to show the OPs issue as "Answered." (see image2)
    2. It will add the "Best Answer" to the top of the OPs post. (see image3)

This new feature could really benefit members or guests that are looking for solutions while browsing or searching the Computer Trouble-Shooting Discussion Board.

Note: The Wise Specific Product Boards do not have this feature enabled.

I ran sfc/ scannow and window resource protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. Then I ran a windows repair disc
startup repair and it wasn't able to repair. Then I ran the Windows 7 Pro upgrade installation an that wouldn't work because I dont have enough space on my SSD C drive and because I have Sp1 installed. Is there another way to repair these corrupted files? I also tried windows update hotfix tools. Are these updates that important? Otherwise my computer is running fine.

RichardGora reacted to Harm Jan Verweij in program sounds disabled after using WiseCare 365
Until a week ago I used Wisecare 365 on a daily basis, primarily its cleaning facilities: check up, registry cleaner, common cleaner and the advanced cleaner consecutively. The reason why I stopped using the software is a simple one: I kept having problems with the program sounds which for one reason or another went mute: I am referring to the event sounds, system sounds as they are being activated by installed software, for instance the warning signal CCleaner produces when I order the program to delete a restore point, or the sound produced by Malwarebytes when it has updated its data base: all of these sounds were gone and I could not solve the problem by reconfiguring the sound settings. Unfortunately system restore would not help me out either, I really had to restore my computer using a full backup I created before, when the event sounds were still fully functional.

I tried and find out what caused the problem and initially had no idea but from the moment I stopped using WiseCare 365 the problems never recurred whereas until recently I experienced these problems just about every day. I think by now I may safely assume the problems are WiseCare related.

In my opinion not using WiseCare can only be a temporary solution. Generally speaking it is excellent software, not surprisingly I had been using it for many years but I feel I cannot start using the software again unless I know which part of the program is responsible for the problems I described above. Therefore I would like to ask two questions to this community: first, does the problem sound familiar to anyone and secondly, what can I do to prevent it from happening again, or, to put it differently: what exactly is it that is being removed from my computer that should have been left alone? I was using the pro version 3.45.302.

RichardGora reacted to Linkin in How to download YouTube Video For Free?
YouTube only allows users to watch and view videos on their website. Many users want to download their favorite videos to their computer so they can watch them without being connected to the Internet or so they can watch them on other devices. Below are the steps required for downloading and watching YouTube videos on your computer for free.

Go to http://www.wisevideosuite.com to download Wise Video Downloader.

Open any YouTube video page and copy the URL of the video you want to download.

Once this address has been copied, paste that URL into the URL bar and click the Download button.

Of course if you want to play the videos downloaded in multiple devices like your PC, your pad or smart phone. You are gonna need to convert them into different formats that is playable on these devices. Then the Convert feature comes in handy. It is a link to Wise Video Converter, which you can also download from http://www.wisevideosuite.com. The best thing about this converter is you don’t have to choose which format you need to convert into. Just drag and drop the video files to the corresponding big icons of devices, and then click Convert.

Notice: Not all the videos can be downloaded by Wise Video Downloader. Statistics show that more than 80% of the video files can be downloaded by this software. Please keep this software updated. By default, Wise Video Downloader will download the 1280*720 pixel video.
