I would like the team to add a "search" option to the program, allowing the user to search for terms in all registry entries or selected sections "HKEYs". (Allowing you to list, select, and delete...)

Similarly, an option to compare Windows Registry backups could be implemented. I would see the differences between them and if I wanted for example to edit them directly I could do so before importing into Windows.

Still, even if it is, these descriptions are too vague for me to know if the changes it makes are something I want. Is there anywhere I can see what exactly each of the options entails?

For instance, the "set Windows Explorer components to run in separate processes" is clear enough. But what exactly is optimized and in which way for "Optimized response speed of system display"? Same thing with all the other vague options.

• Custom area: replace the scan button with the save button, to save the choices, because when I click the top-right X, the choices won't be saved.
  You fixed this problem in release 9.15, but it returned in the current stable release
  I don't know when this problem returned.
  I'd also prefer its previous location (bottom-left corner).
• Auto-adjust columns (when double-clicking the column cursor) doesn't work.
  I can't remember if this worked in previous releases.
• Tooltips don't work, when the "value name" and "key name" columns are "stretched" (i.e., always).
  They worked in previous releases.
  I don't know when this problem returned.
• When I open WRC portable, %AppData%\Wise Euask folder is created (and it shouldn't create it, or at least it should create that folder inside WRC folder).
• Some entries didn't show the description.
  I had got these three entries without a description (but probably I deleted them, because now I don't get them any more):

A few weeks ago, it would try to clean the registry but started showing a message that said that it failed to remove 2 or 3 problems. After a few days of that it started saying it failed to remove 6 problems. Later it went to 10 problems, and for about the last week it says "Failed to remove 12 problems." But each time it doesn't tell me which problems it could not resolve. If I run the scan a second time it says there's nothing to clean. I get the same scenario every day, with no other explanation.

Is this normal? Anything to worry about?

I found two related file extension keys:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts\.webp

and

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts\.webp"

MIND the trailing double quote: "

The last entry is obviously nonsense. I am not sure where it comes from. Maybe some other crap software.

To get rid of it I run a DeepScan with Wise Registry Cleaner v10.7.1 and yes it found the culprit entries (see attached snapshot).

So I ticked them all and start cleaning.

Unfortunately Wise registry Cleaner was NOT able to really delete these registry entries.

I guess it is because it is confused by the (single) double quote

This is a bug. WRC should be able to completely delete them.

Can this be fixed in the next reelease.

Can anything be done about these? Should anything be done? (apart from reloading Windows and starting afresh!)

I click  Optimize in System Tuneup. Now I need to turn on autoplay. How to undo changes for individual options? 

I think wise registry cleaner optimization had made my internet connection slower because when I use fast.com or speedtest.net to test my internet speed I get 300 mb UP and if I boot to a live cd like ubuntu or hiren bootcd I got a result of 980mb.

How can I reverse back to default the wise registry cleaner free optimisation ?

I don't have backups before the optimisation and when I click default settings only the TTL optimisation was desabled.

How can I desable all optimisation? does the pro version allows it ? 

Am I forced to reinstall windows from scratch ?

is there the possibilty to make Wise Registry Cleaner DPI aware?

I'm using it on a PC with a 4K monitor and every pixel in the app graphics looks doubled (see attached image).

I have a registry key that I just can't delete, no matter if I take ownership. I tried just anything. 

My plan was now to let WRC make a backup in the form of an .rbk file and simply delete the key there and then re-import the .rbk file and thus overwrite the old registry.

Unfortunately the .rbk file is not human readable.

Does anybody have any idea how to let WRC do what I want?
