Hi,

Now there are no new messages in errorlog, the disk becomes visible in Disk Cleaner, but cannot find anything to clean.

Latest updated WDR still generates the same error.

Hey void143,

We want to buy a disk to test (same as yours), but I cannot find it, are you sure the model is SRD0SD0 ?

Most Seagate Backup Plus Desktop Drive (4 TB) I can find, the model is like STDT4000300

Lost Partition (Wise Data Recovery)

Dear Admin,
I am using legacy P-III, 866 MHz single processor, 2 hard drives (Primary and Secondary One of them (the effected) is of Samsung SV) with Windows 2003 Server SP-2 without any UPS. I had some virus infections due to which I was unable to use safe mode option. I tried MS anti malware utility during which a electric power surge and break down occured. On restoration of power computer started with Scandisk screen and message "File record Segment" (From 25-29, one line after another) "unable to read" Deleting Index entry etc. etc. When booting and login completed I was unable to find one partition (F:) with NTFS file system. Although I was still able to see the lost partition in My Computer with the Drive letter but without volume size, used space or free space. I used different parition and data recovery tools which were recognizing the lost files. These tools were requiring some payment before recovery or were offering limited file(s) in free. I used your "Wise Data Recovey Ver.:3.82.199". It has perhaps limitation that it only recognizes healthy partitions only as it does not show the lost partition/drive. Kindly advise what to do

Hey browncamel,

The message "File record Segment" (From 25-29, one line after another) "unable to read", means the disk has bad segments. all saved files were lost. some software can segregate these bad segments, then you could continue to use the disk, But it is not safe, someday you may lost the whole disk. We suggest you to change a new disk.

Wise Data Recovery is a free software, it just supports a simple data recovery, can't do the deep scan and recovery. Sorry, we can't help you. Please try other programs.

Wise Data Recovery does not See CD Drive

Installed latest version today, and it does not show my CD Drive. CD's are removable, so I though your program would work with them. What do I do?

Hi ConfusedJim.

I also can't see my CD/DVD Drive (without or with a CD/DVD in it).

Using Windows 10 home x64.

Maybe this operation is not supported, but anyway wait for a more authoritative answer by WiseCleaner_Admin (or WiseC. employees/moderators).
