WiseCleaner 1,138 Report post Posted August 23, 2013 I suspect that some system files are lost or damage, or the hard disk has bad sectors. Try following steps to check 1, Win XP : click Start-----Run---type CMD, press Enter, type sfc /scannow , press Enter, wait for scanning result Win Vista/7: click Start----type CMD in search box, right-click cmd.exe, select Run as administrator, type sfc /scannow , press Enter, wait for scanning result please note down the result or make a snapshot. 2, Right-click drive C:----Properties-----Tools----Error-checking, click Check now. when it finish, click the rest of the drive one by one 3, If you have done all steps, but still have same problem. You need a Windows system disc to repair the problem.
