MSN Explorer Not Responding

Recommended Posts

I frequently get that notice, accompanied by a partially whited out screen (the notice not whited out), plus choices "Wait For Problem To Resolve" (or something like that) or "Close Program Now," when using my MSN/com email. WiseCare doesn't resolve it.

Hi zammer.

1) Open an elevated command prompt and type (or copy/paste):

cleanmgr /sageset:1
Press enter, tick every option (or the options that you prefer) inside cleanmgr advanced menu, click ok, then type this:

cleanmgr /sagerun:1
Press enter and wait until it finishes.

2) Launch ipconfig /flushdns into the same command prompt (at previous point).

3) Into the same command prompt (at previous point), copy the following line in the code, paste it in the command prompt (right-click with the mouse, paste), press enter on your keyboard, wait until it finishes, close the command prompt, restart your computer:

RunDll32.exe InetCpl.cpl,ClearMyTracksByProcess 4351
4) Download adwcleaner portable (click), run it, select every entries, clean them and restart (it wants to be restarted).

Looking forward for your kind feedback!

I downloaded and ran the program, just as you said. It left me with crash dumps, and a PC that didn't run.. It cost $180 for a tech to get things back to where they were. MSN NOT RESPONDING is still there.

Hey zammer,

Sorry, I don't have a msn account, so I cannot test your problem.

But, someone said, change the IE settings may solve it. You can try it.

Open IE -> Tools -> Internet options -> Advanced, tick "Empty Temp Internet Files Folder When Browser Is Closed" Hit OK.
