"The proxy server is refusing connections"

There was power loss for 45 mins. When it came up again, I only could go to facebook website - none of my other bookmarks (i.e. Hulu, Club Pogo, etc) work. I get my internet from my neighbor. "The proxy server is refusing connections" is the message I receive when trying to go to other websites.

Hi, 

If your default browser is IE,

1. Run IE, tools---Internet Options---Connection----LAN settings, unchecked Proxy server.

2. Run Wise PC 1stAid, click the  6th icon.
