RichardBaldwin
Sir: During or maybe just at the end of bootup, a sign apears saying something on the order of "This program can not open because it is missing file WkSvcCal.dll (or its WkCalSvc.dll.....I don't remember for sure) The point is, this pop's up every time it boot's up. But everything works. Every program I have an icon for on my desk top, opens up and works. I have downloaded five programs simular to yours, all saying they can fix the .dll file. I have run them all and none have fixed the problem. They all say if I purchase the program I will get the "full" version. Is this why I can't get this damn "confuzzzer" of mine to stop with the pop up? Wise Cleaner seems to be my first choice so far. But as I said, I hate to pay for something that isn't going to help. xilolee
Have you installed/uninstalled works (Microsoft program)? You can remove items that run at startup from msconfig - start-up tab - untick the checkbox near the item to disable - ok Or you can use autoruns. If this doesn't help, please show the exact error.
