casstat Posted April 30, 2014 Report Share Posted April 30, 2014 I am missing several dll files that is not allowing windows update to install new 8.1.1 update. says entry-point DLLREGISTERSERVER not found on 4 missing dll's and the other 9 "missing" dll files say ".dll failed to load the module. Make sure binary is stored at the specified path or debug it for problems with the binary or dependent .dll files. Entry-point errors are: mshtml.dll, shdocvw.dll, browseui.dll, msxml.dll. failed to load errors are: gpkcsp.dll, sccbase.dll, slbcsp.dll, initpki.dll, wuaueng1.dll, wucltui.dll, wuweb.dll, qmgr.dll, and muweb.dll. This is what sfc /scannow shows. Please Help! Operating system:Windows 8.1 (64 bit) System root: C:\WINDOWS Available physical memory: 5578 MB CPU: AMD A8-4500M APU with Radeon HD Graphics Drive Info: C: 681.85 GB Internet Explorer: 11.0 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
