WiseCleaner
Hi, Do you try to plug-in your external hard disk in another computer? Or, try to use another USB port of your computer, rear port is better.
my2cents
MY EXTERNAL HARDISK ( WD) WHICH IS CONECTED TO YHE USB PORT WILL NOT SHOW UP IN MY COMPUTER AND IT WILL NOT START Your issue is unclear based on the information provided. What does "will not start" mean? Does it actually run? What is the make/model number of the external drive? Is it a WD Passport or similar make that has special firmware and security software installed? FYI, an external drive must have an active volume to show up in my computer. If yours does not, you can create a simple volume in computer management.

wisecleaner_admin
Hi, please try other USB ports, rear port is better. If it cannot work, try to use other USB device to check whether your USB ports are working well. Maybe reboot system can solve it.
