Hi.

  • I'll repeat: honestly I prefer the current interface of registry cleaner and common cleaner, because I can use the mouse wheel to scroll the screen.

With the new interface, there are a lot of useless clicks!

  • It can not import exclusion files made by WRC and WDC.
  • I must click three times to close it, one for WiseCare365.exe, two for wisetray.exe.

With wise care 365 3.9.5 (3.95.353) and previous versions, I only have to terminate wisetray.exe (two clicks).

Most users would prefer only one click, like it was in version 2.

  • Right-click on the floating window, click on settings, will restore wise care 365 window instead of showing floating window settings (settings, tray tab).
  • WGB still is not shown in "more utilities"; see Games (click).
  • A schedule task can't be created, it gives an error (probably the same one of wise disk cleaner beta).
  • It still doesn't start with windows, at least on my machine.
Using: WiseCare365 BETA 4.01.383 PORTABLE, windows 10 x64 home/standard, custom scaling 150%, res. 1920x1080 color depth 32bit, UAC at its highest setting, DEP AlwaysOn, Windows Firewall, Windows defender, no other antivirus/antimalware suites (at least, not enabled).

I didn't try with UAC at its lowest level and with dep at its default setting (but I tried that with installed WiseCare365 3.9, see the other topic Wise 365 Version 3 - feature requests and suggestions) - 73rd post).

Edit: today 17 January 2016 I tried with UAC at its lower setting and DEP at its default setting: I downloaded wise care 365 beta installer, right-click it, run it as an administrator, (installed it), restarted windows, but wise care 365 still doesn't start with windows.

Hey xiolee,

Thank you very much.

1, New interface, I think it is Eyes of the beholder wise seek wisdom.

2, I have reported it to the developer team. They are trying to find a solution, the wise care 365 exclusion list contains WDC and WRC which are different types.

3, Three clicks to close wise care 365? Too strange, I just click two times. I don't know why you need two clicks to close wisetray.exe. Can you tell me more?

4, Yes, I have confirmed it, we will fix it.

5, Okay, we will add it.

6, A schedule task can't be created? Can you give me the error message? I test it in my Win 10, I can create a task, and it works well.

7, We have found the reason - Windows 10 Fast Startup. If you turn off it, WiseBootBooster.exe can run with Windows startup. But this option is Turned on as default. we are trying to find a solution.

3, Three clicks to close wise care 365? Too strange, I just click two times. I don't know why you need two clicks to close wisetray.exe. Can you tell me more?

600kB video (click on slow download)

(1) Right-click on the tray, (2) left-click on exit, (3) left-click on the X of WiseCare365 top-right corner = 3 clicks.

With wiseCare365 3.95, I just do two clicks on the tray (right-click, exit).

6, A schedule task can't be created? Can you give me the error message? I test it in my Win 10, I can create a task, and it works well.

2.39MB video (click on slow download)

I tried also with wiseCare365 3.95 and I got the same error (it's in the video).

7, We have found the reason - Windows 10 Fast Startup. If you turn off it, WiseBootBooster.exe can run with Windows startup. But this option is Turned on as default. we are trying to find a solution.

I'm not sure fast startup is the reason.

I disabled hiberfil.sys - hibernation (powercfg /h off), hence fast startup should also be disabled.

I can't remember if I disabled it or if I left it enabled before disabling hibernation.

For completeness, I also disabled the virtual memory - pagefile.sys and swapfile.sys.

Only SLEEP is enabled.

Hey xiolee,

1, Three clicks problem.

Understood, we will fix it shortly.

2, Schedule task problem.

Please try to create a task manually. I think you can't do it manually, too. This is not a problem of wise care 365, it is a problem of Windows 10 Account.

A daily task main parameters:

Actions:

Start a program,

Command: C:\Program Files (x86)\Wise\Wise Care 365\WiseCare365.exe

Arguments: -c

Start in:  C:\Program Files (x86)\Wise\Wise Care 365

3, Startup problem.

I want to confirm, the WiseTray doesn't run when system start up, or you can't see the WiseBootBooster (system startup time)?

I created the wise care 365 task from task scheduler GUI (slower, but more control) and from command prompt (faster, but less control).

The application started at log on in both cases, with UAC at its highest setting and DEP AlwaysOn.

Command:

schtasks /create /TN "Wise Care 365" /TR "D:\Applicazioni\Programmi portable di WISE CLEANER\Wise Care 365\wisecare365.exe" /RL HIGHEST /sc onlogon
Output:

C:\WINDOWS\system32>schtasks /create /TN "Wise Care 365" /TR "D:\Applicazioni\Programmi portable di WISE CLEANER\Wise Care 365\wisecare365.exe" /RL HIGHEST /sc onlogon
SUCCESS: The scheduled task "Wise Care 365" has successfully been created.

Today I made these tries:

  • UAC = never notify (disabled), DEP AlwaysOFF, hibernation enabled, fast startup disabled, pagefile.sys disabled
  • UAC = never notify (disabled), DEP AlwaysOFF, hibernation enabled, fast startup enabled, pagefile.sys disabled
  • UAC = never notify (disabled), DEP OptIn (default), hibernation enabled, fast startup disabled, pagefile.sys disabled
  • UAC = never notify (disabled), DEP OptIn (default), hibernation enabled, fast startup enabled, pagefile.sys disabled
  • UAC = minimum level, DEP OptIn (default), hibernation enabled, fast startup disabled, pagefile.sys disabled
  • UAC = minimum level, DEP OptIn (default), hibernation enabled, fast startup enabled, pagefile.sys disabled
  • UAC = minimum level, DEP OptIn (default), hibernation enabled, fast startup disabled, pagefile.sys enabled
  • UAC = minimum level, DEP OptIn (default), hibernation enabled, fast startup enabled, pagefile.sys enabled
WiseBootBooster starts with fast startup enabled and disabled, I haven't got problems with WiseBootBooster, except I still can't see weather informations...

WiseCare365 3.9.5 portable (and WiseTray) still doesn't start with windows.

I know this topic should be for the new version 4, but I think results would be the same as these ones.

It seems to me the problem is WiseCare365 isn't able to create tasks, at least on my machine.

Is nobody else reporting this problem?

I found only DRNESR's topic (click), where he had a problem with wise care 365 didn't start at windows bootup.

He was using windows 7 x64, wise care 3.4.5 PRO (February 2015).

Note: I can live without weather informations on bootupbooster and without wise care 365 starting at windows bootup, I'm just reporting possible problems.

Can you create a task using wise care 365 v3.95 and wise disk cleaner v8.91?

No, I can't.

The new WiseCare365 4.0.2 beta (portable) instead is able to create weekly, monthly, at login tasks, but isn't able to create daily and on idle tasks.

It still can't start with windows (tried with DEP OptIn, hibernation on, fast startup off, pagefile off).

It seems it now works as expected.

Tasks are created and deleted.

It still doesn't start with windows, because it is using the install path instead of the portable path.

It should be simple for you to fix this. ;)

Edit: re-tried and it creates the correct task.

Probably wise care 365 uninstaller didn't remove the task (with the install path) and wise care 365 portable wasn't able to change the already existing task...

Thanks, xiolee.

I have confirmed this issue, we will fix it asap.

BTW, some user email to us reporting a problem, using PC-Checkup then Common cleaner will remove the website login states (account info), e.g., I log in forum.wisecleaner.com and select the option - Reminder me. then close IE, open wise care 365 and run pc-checkuk, and then run common cleaner. restart PC, open forum.wisecleaner.com, I was logged out, I need to log in again.

Do you have this problem? I did these steps many times, but I can't reproduce this issue.

I think this is normal: if I want to delete the browser(s) cache(s), I expect all data have been cleared out, including all log-ins to every forum.

They should untick cookies in common cleaner.

In settings, custom, custom checkup, (their) browser caches --- MS IE Cache in my case, given that I'm using MSIE11.

Hey xiolee,

Thanks.

Yesterday, after many many tests, I found this file '%localappdata%\microsoft\windows\webcache\v01.log' may cause the issue. In a special condition, user's website login states will be removed if this file is deleted.

We will request those user, who have reported this problem to verify if ignore this file can stop deleting website login states.
