Hello,

today i experienced a problem with one of the latest updates of wise disk cleaner.

I flagged the option "browser downloaded files" on windows system and all the 52gb of file i had in my download folder are disappeared.

I need thos files there are all the work i've done in the last month.

I supposed that the option "browser downloaded files" was only to remove the list of downloaded files and not the files!!

So now i have my 52gb of files erased and not in the recycle bin.

How can i recover them? i really need them for my work. Please someone help me.

I have another question:

That option removes files ONLY from "download" folder or removes also the files that i downloaded and i moved to different folders?

Because i downloaded a lot of files and moved them from "download" folder to different folders and now i don't know if i have lost some of them.

Please someone help me, i only need to recover all the files deleted with the option "browser downloaded files" in system windows

Thank you in advance.

Please try the following steps:

1, Right click the Download folder, click Properties

Attached File  restore1.png   23.54K   2 downloads

2, Click Previous Version tab

Attached File  restore2.png   22.19K   2 downloads

3, Select an early point

4, Click Restore

Method two:

1, download and install wise data recovery

2, scan C drive

3, find Download folder and select it

4, click Restore

ok thanks, i've solved with the second solution, and i restored successfully almost an half of the removed files.

I had no restore points so i had to use a restore program.

Thank you for the answer and the help!

Have a nice day,

Kind regards.
