Clive
A large number of entries have gone missing from the add remove dialogue in windows 8. I have tried a few third party uninstallers which find one or two more but that is all. Most I have solved by re-installing the software concerned but I have sevearl pieces of software which were on time limited give away license codes and cant afford to buy these products. Is there any way to force windows to "rebuild" the add remove programmes list. Most are programmes I know did have entries before I had to do a full restore from back up image - they were there at first but I had a mad hour where i removed about 30 software programmes I didnt want and next time I went back all the remainder had dissappeared (even Microsoft software like office - though I was able to reinstall that ok) Operating system:Windows 8 Pro (32 bit) System root: C:\Windows Available physical memory: 3326 MB CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4200+ Drive Info: C: 238.47 GB D: 232.88 GB E: 1863.01 GB F: 1345.31 GB G: 2794.48 GB Internet Explorer: 10.
WiseCleaner
Hi, Have those entries gone missing suddenly? Or, you uninstalled programs and they were missing? If they have gone missing suddenly, can you find their installation directory? Can you open it or run it? If you uninstalled programs, you need to reinstall them.
