laptop switches off after sometime

when i start the laptop after i have loged on the laptop switches off then again i try to open it it again switches off but after trying for 3 to 4 times it switches on Operating system:Windows 7 Home Basic (64 bit) Service Pack 1 System root: C:\Windows Available physical memory: 6007 MB CPU: Intel® Core i5 CPU M 450 @ 2.40GHz Drive Info: C: 236.70 GB E: 107.42 GB F: 111.59 GB Internet Explorer: 9.0
