    Thank you
Just a suggestion though, lockable and unlockable option to current position, because 'for me' it's a little annoying for it to be dragged when clicking optimize and putting it back again to my desired position.

The new Mem.Optimizer has no settings like the old one, will there be in the next update?
Mem. reaches 90+% and my computer freezes for some seconds, unlike the old one that has a setting for automatic optimizing when mem. gets high.

What I hate about Windows 8&8.1 is the unavailability of hibernate option inside Power menu. If you need to have Hibernate option inside your Windows 8 Power menu, read this article.

Step 1: On your keyboard press Win+R to lunch the Run dialog window.

Step 2: Inside Run window type powercfg.cpl and press Enter on your keyboard.

Step 3: When Power Options window opens up, inside left pane you need to click on Choose what the power buttons do link.

Step 4: Now click on Change settings that are currently unavailable, located at the top.

Step 5: Now scroll down the options and at the bottom of existing window you should notice the Hibernate option. Select the checkbox in front of Hibernate and click on Save changes.

Step 6: Next time when you launch Windows 8 power menu, you will see Hibernate option available.

Jayzx reacted to wisecleaner_admin in How to speed up your PC
Lots of members ask the same question in our forum - My computer run very slow, how can I solve it.
Actually, it is easy, just run Wise Care 365, and click some buttons.
    1) Click Check Up Now to check up your system, then click Fix Now to clean system.
    2) Click System Tuneup-->System Optimizer-->Optimize. If you want to restore settings, just click System Default.

    3) Click System Tuneup-->Startup Manager-->Startup, disable useless startup programs.

    4) Click System Tuneup-->Startup Manager-->Services, in this tab, you will see four suggestions:
Enable - System often use this service, we suggest you enable it.
Disable - This service can be disabled safely.
Keep - Maintain this service current status, you don't need to change it. If you confirm this service is useless, you don't need it, you can disable it.
No suggestion - We don't give any suggestion for third-party services, if you confirm the service is useless, you don't need to run it when PC starts, you can disable it.
Anyway, you can restore your operation in Records tab.

    5) Click System Tuneup-->Context Menu, disable context menu of third-party programs.

    6) Click System Tuneup-->Disk Defrag, it will spend long time, suggest you just defrag drive C.
    7) Click System Tuneup-->Registry Defrag, be careful, it need to reboot your system.
    8) If your PC still slow, you can try Wise PC 1stAid, the last one icon "Running speed of PC is too slow", when you reboot system, you will be shocked , your PC just like a new one.
Be careful, before you use this function, you must to read its Notice carefully. Because, this operation will disable most IE plugins/extensions, most third-party services, most startup programs. It means some programs which you installed, will not run well.

If all above steps cannot speed up your PC, I think your PC's hardware are out of date.
In this case, increase your physical memory to 4GB may be useful.

Jayzx reacted to Linkin in How To Hide Your Desktop Screen Fast?
If you are doing something very confidential on your computer or watching something on your computer that you do not want other people seeing and then someone suddenly walks in and you really need to prevent the person from seeing what it is you are doing on the computer. It is not uncommon that we found ourselves in this position several times and have wished that there was a quick button that we could suddenly press and change what is on our computer screen to something else.

This article will help you to quickly hide your desktop screen and keep your confidential information or activity from being seen by prying eyes.

    1. CTRL + ALT + DEL + ENTER will instantly hide your desktop screen
When you press all these four buttons simultaneously you automatically lock your computer and prevent any prying eyes from seeing the activity that you were doing on your computer.

NOTE: This method does not shut down your computer or make you lose what you were working on. It just locks your computer and prevents anyone from seeing your confidential material.

Alternatively, you can also press the Windows key + L to achieve the same result. The Windows key is the button on your keyboard that has the Windows logo on it. Windows key + L achieves the same result as CTRL + ALT + DEL + ENTER.

If your computer has a password and you use this method, then in order to resume what you were doing, you’ll have to reenter your password.

    2. WINDOWS KEY + D will instantly hide your desktop screen
The Windows Key + D keyboard shortcut is the second method that I’d like to share with my readers. This method is very simple and easy to remember. All you need to do is to press the Windows button and D. After you have done this, the program, page or window that you are currently viewing will instantly minimize. It also minimizes all open programs, windows, or pages.

The advantage with this keyboard shortcut is that you do not need to reenter your password when you want to resume the work or activity that you were doing. All you need to do is move down to the taskbar and click on the program, page or window that you want to resume working on.

    Hi jaizx.
You can try to launch sfc /scannow from an elevated command prompt (it lasts about 20-40 min, usually).
If you have used Wcare365 system tuneup - startup manager, you could find the removed entries inside the records tab (startup, services, records).

[charms bar is the Windows 8/8.1 bar, on the right side of the display... Usually.]

Nor do I, both on WDC and Wcare365 (portable and latest versions).
    Was it removed?
This post was made in may 2013, hence the feature was probably removed from the program after that date, but in the changelogs (on the website) it isn't mentioned and the online documentation - support, help online, wise disk cleaner - still shows that option.

I'm very eager to give v3 a try, but I've got a quick question:

I have a Lifetime license for 365 Pro, will the Beta pick up on that license, or will it install the Free version of 365 v3?

Will the Beta overwrite my current v2.x installation?

    OK, that's two questions.

HOW TO MAKE A SCREENSHOT - First method using MSPAINT.EXE
(works from Windows xp onwards; I can't remember if it works in win98, WinME, WinMillennium, sorry.)

    1) Make sure to keep visible the area that you want to capture.
    2) Press Print screen key on your keyboard (aka: Print Scrn, Prnt Scrn, Prt Scn, Prt Scr, Prt Sc, Stamp (in italy)).

Windows 8/8.1: you can press both Windows key and print screen (Windows + PRNT SCRN) and you'll have an already saved screenshot in C:\Users\your-user-name\Pictures\Screenshots, probably saved as a PNG file.

Or click directly the paste button, if present.
    Or from the edit menu.
Or press ctrl key + v key on your keyboard (CTRL + V).
    5) Check if the image is displayed correctly and edit it according to the forum rules.
You can also hoop/point out/underline some of the most important parts.
