  11. 1. confirm the External Hard Drive is working or not. 2. change the data cable or computer try it. 3. after connect the external hard drive, restart the computer and press "delete" on the keyboard untill enter the CMOS, then check find this external hard drive or not. 4. if can find, please install like disk genius tools then check it can find your external hard drive or not. 5. if can find your drive, then please send screenshot to us. if can not, then it is your drive`s problem, and you should do step 2. If all is not working, that mean your external hard drive is broken, then you should repair it. thanks.
