  1. Ok, today I made another test and seems you guys found the problem and fixed it, correct? Now WRCX and WRC9 find almost the same items (like in yesterday test). WRC8 and WRC9 find this item in "software paths", WRCX doesn't find it: "folder history" - "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\7-Zip\FM"- d:\downloads\iview451_plugins.zip And indeed that file doesn't exist anymore. Anyway, "application paths" and "user mru lists" still show the unreadable "value name" in binary format.
  2. New test with wrcx latest version Always same settings (I enabled all sections), all the three programs are the portable versions and the exclusion.dat is the same for all versions. It seems wrcx escludes software paths from the scan: wrcx 54s 197 items (0 in software paths, 124 in User MRU lists) wrc9 56s 198 items (1 in software paths, 124 in User MRU lists) wrc8 35s 106 items (1 in software paths, 32 in User MRU lists) wrcx still shows binary data in Application paths and user mru lists sections. wrc8 is still the fastest, wrc9 is still the one that finds more items.
  3. I sort all of them in alphabetical order and translate a few of items (in the area section).
  4. Common cleaner: - scroll bar doesn't work as expected - custom searches names are NOT visible. Advanced cleaner: - When I change the language, the language isn't changed under the type column. - Fourth and fifth columns show an incorrect behaviour in their resizing (like it was in previous version). - advanced settings are not saved when I change the language; steps to reproduce it: change the options, click ok, click scan, (re-check the advanced settings), change the language and the advanced settings (I've chosen a minute ago) disappeared. Slimming system: Second, third and fourth columns show an incorrect behaviour in their resizing.
  5. Another one: WRCX and WCare365 show binary data, whilst WRC8 and 9 show the value name. Sections: application paths and user mru lists.
  6. Try to open the program directly in c:\Program Files (x86)\Wise\Wise Duplicate Finder
  7. When I exclude software paths, they find the same items. Does this help? This problem started in the transition from WRC9 to WRCX.
  8. Hi kasem. :-) I'm not sure you can use wise duplicate finder without a license and for free... By the way, if it worked, it should have made a backup (if you didn't change its options). Check menu, settings, backup folder. There's also a "backup and restore" function, always in its menu.
  9. wrc vs Wcare365 vs wrc 8.83.563 (all with deep scan) 113 vs 3 vs 70 (with same exclusions) 1m6s vs 1m8s vs 40s 181 vs 69 vs 136 (without exclusions) 52s vs 55s vs 26s
  10. Try their portable versions: https://www.wisecleaner.com/download.html
  11. The current english.ini seems an older version. This was version 5.15.506 (more updated than the current): https://1drv.ms/u/s!ArYK0ttq5qgXrRpeSiI8ByxGIzxh
  12. Not here: WRC8 found 73 problems in 57sec (the second time, 41sec), WCare365 found 3 problems in 1m17sec (the second time, 1m10sec). WRC9 found 178 problems in 1m6sec (105 MRU lists more than WRC8). All portable versions, with same settings, exclusions and PC.
  13. Bugs: - it doesn't create the shutdown tasks, except for the daily option; but when I cancel the task, it isn't cancelled from the list. - I didn't check the other tasks, but I think they won't work.
  14. Hi aiv3006. You can't do that from pc checkup, but you can do it from system cleaner, common cleaner. Translated with google translate: Вы не можете сделать это из проверки на ПК, но вы можете сделать это от очистителя системы, обычного очистителя.
  15. That affects only the scheduled task, if you set one. And by the way, I have now tried to create a scheduled task with that option, and re-tried without that option, and things didn't change in the task. Therefore this is a bug.
  16. Hi! Premise: for the scans I used the same settings and the same exclusion.dat (and the same system with the same settings...). 1) Settings, general, "notify me when someone posted a paid question" should be removed 2) I still think "custom area" should be located where it was in WRC8 (and previous versions): It doesn't save the settings when I click the x: there was an OK button to save them, now there is a SCAN button. I don't know what kind of scan it will be: default? Safe? Deep? 3) WRC10 doesn't find entries: WRC9 finds about 107 (WRC8 134) entries using the safe scan and 229 (wrc8 256) entries using the deep scan. Wise care 365 has got the same problem... 4) I can't verify other possible bugs/glitches/missing features/incoherencies given that there aren't results... 5) WRC8 scan time was 44s, WRC10 was 65s, WCare365 was 67s. (all entries enabled, in this case)
  17. In windows 7, the slimming system in WDC and WCare365 removes the following files (when the user choose to select and remove them, obviously) and then the SFC tool will report "found integrity violations". These files aren't located in Winsxs\backup:
  18. The latest, but at that time I was using 5.1.5, because 5.1.6 wasn't available.
  19. If possible, try to correct also the SFC problem (found integrity violations) in windows 7:
  20. In advanced cleaner, advanced settings, "Find empty files comes into effect only once. Next time you need to select again." is still present.
  21. Confirmed: they disappeared even here. And when I change the language from Eng to Ita, some strings remain in Eng.
  22. No problems here: I'm using W10 std x64 (updated) and Wise Care 365 (portable). Instead I found this (registry cleaner): the tooltip is shown only for the first part (version) in firewall settings. In advanced cleaner, it says "Congratulations! Your computer is clean.", but instead there are files to be removed. The type column shows Italian strings instead of English ones (I changed from Italian to English, previously). The tooltips of the type column show the first part in Italian, the second one in English "(This item can be deleted safely).". The tooltip suggestion for "User define" is "unknown", but I can't find its string, therefore I can't translate it. If I change the language after the scan, all strings remain in previous language. In system monitor, hardware overview, the mainboard shows "AsRockFM2A88M Pro3+( )": AsRock should be separated from FM2A88M, the first parenthesis should be separated from Pro3+, inside the parenthesis there should be something (or it shouldn't show the parenthesis). It would be nice to have the possibility to copy the strings directly in the program. In system monitor, hardware overview, processor, temperature shows about 10°C: could it be you forgot to add 32, hence 42°C (for the conversion from °F to °C)? The same is valid for the graphic card (embedded in my processor). The hard drive temperature says 31°C. Could it be 63°C ? In system monitor, hardware overview, memory: my MB (AsRock FM2A88M Pro3+) has got four memory slots. Three are occupied, one is free. Three are shown, one is not. I think the empty slot should be shown. Near each memory slot, it says "DIMM 0" or "DIMM 1": the information about channels A and B is unavailable. In themes: thanksgiving-2016 is not downloadable and the luminosity bar is inverted. Moving the slider to the right should increase the luminosity (instead it decreases), moving it to the left should decrease the luminosity (instead it increases)...
  23. Common cleaner: scroll bar doesn't work as expected Advanced cleaner: - It isn't possible to sort the columns (like it was in previous version) - Fourth and fifth columns show an incorrect behaviour in their resizing (like it was in previous version). - Results are shown in English: it ignores the Italian strings. - After the scan, it says "Congratulations! Your computer is clean.", but instead there are files to be removed. - Find empty/invalid files options (checkboxes) are still available, but it doesn't find them. Slimming system: It isn't possible to resize columns The tooltips don't work: minimize, maximize and close buttons; and also in common cleaner results.
