    Forum Rules

Welcome to the WiseCleaner.com Forums! In order to keep the forums running well, please follow these simple rules for the forums. If you have any questions or problems, please feel free to contact us support@wisecleaner.com. Posts are to be made in the relevant forum. Users are asked to read the forum descriptions before posting. Users consistently posting to the wrong forum may be given a warning (see policing below). Members should post in a way that is respectful of other users. Flaming or abusing users in any way will not be tolerated and will lead to a warning. Members should remember this board is aimed at a general audience. Posting pornographic or generally offensive text, images, links, etc. will not be tolerated and will lead to a warning. Members are asked to respect the copyright of other users, sites, media, etc. Users linking to or asking for information on warez, crackz, etc. or re-printing material without permission will receive a warning and their post will be removed. Do not use your signature to link to pages that contain objectionable material. This includes, warez, cracks, pornography, pyramid schemes, referral ID's, ebay listings and requesting personal donations. Members should post in a way which is consistent with "normal writing". That is users should not post excessive numbers of emoticons, large, small or coloured text, etc. Similarly users should not SHOUT or use excessive punctuation (e.g. ! and ?) in topic titles or posts. Users consistently abusing this will be warned. Members should use an appropriate, descriptive subject when posting a new topic. Examples of bad subjects include; "Help me!", "I'm stuck!", "I've got an error!", etc. Examples of good subjects include; "Getting an TABLE FULL error upon login", "Cannot restore a backup", etc. Members are welcome to use the test forum for general "test purposes". These may include checking signatures, testing a link or image, etc. (subject to previous points on decency, warez, etc.). Spam is not tolerated here under any circumstance. This includes offering hosting services (charged and free), installation services, solicitation etc. Recruiting members for your own projects (moderators, designers, professional MOD work, etc.) is not permitted and is also considered spam. Users posting spam will be warned and their post removed. See specific item on spam and 3rd party linking for more information. Members are asked to not disclose to any 3rd party, board, or list any vulnerabilities in WiseCleaner before first notifying the developers. You should submit all finds to us. Time should be allowed for us, at least 3 working days wherever possible, to respond. The moderating, support and other teams reserve the right to edit, remove or put on moderation queue any post at any time. Please note that currently any very first post is automatically placed in the moderation queue and will be approved/disapproved according to the present Rules. The determination of what is construed as indecent, vulgar, spam, etc. as noted in these points is up to Team Members and not users. No content, or advice or requests for assistance, relating to any activity that the moderators consider to be illegal or offensive will be tolerated. Please refrain from using CAPITALIZATIONS in the topic title or when participating in threads because they will not attract attention - instead it will annoy many of the WiseCleaner Forum members. Very often we see meaningless subjects in topic title. They give no clue of what the posts are all about. The above forum rules where applicable also apply to private messaging. Abuse of the private messaging system may lead to warnings (as above) and/or the revocation of private messaging.

To all and new members. It will help us incredibly much if you describe what operating system you have and perhaps its hardware. You can do it in 'Signature' box. Here is how: 1. Top right click on your name. 2. Select 'My Settings'. 3. 'Signature' on the left (center) In this way we can better take us to the 'root' of the problem and then solve it faster. Thank you in advance

Hello all members, The "Mark Solved" option has been activated in the Computer Trouble-Shooting Discussion Board. Now originating posters (OPs) can select their own "Best Answer." How it works: Each member response to an originating poster's issue will now include a "Mark Solved" button that can only be seen by the OP (see image1). If a specific response solves the OPs issue, he/she can simply click the Mark Solved button for that specific response and it will automatically do two things: 1. It will update the index to show the OPs issue as "Answered." (see image2) 2. It will add the "Best Answer" to the top of the OPs post. (see image3) This new feature could really benefit members or guests that are looking for solutions while browsing or searching the Computer Trouble-Shooting Discussion Board. Note: The Wise Specific Product Boards do not have this feature enabled. UCanFixit

It seems QIHOO 360 Internet Security now (it was "now" in 2015) "gets a new name – 360 Total Security Essential". Usually the "internet security" suites are antivirus + firewall. It seems the firewall used by QIHOO is the one provided by GlassWire. Therefore: maybe are you using two firewalls? (QIHOO's and microsoft's) Try to disable temporarily qihoo, just five minutes, and try to navigate (on safe websites, obviously you shouldn't navigate on unsafe ones). Are you using windows 7? 8? 8.1? 10? x64 or x86?

Hi, maybe you can try to read the following forum thread to understand your problem better - https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/chrome/Zt_1l4TJFnM Also, as @xilolee suggested, you should remove or block any ongoing services that might interrupt the process. Now, if you want to try out something for yourself, check this - https://validedge.com/err_network_changed/ Do let me know if this works.

Yeah, alexbach I would suggest you change the DNS settings and for this follow these simple steps: 1. At first, open command prompt and type ipconfig /flushdns and press enter. 2. Then, you'll get the message that the DNS was flushed now close the program and check for the problem.

How to download YouTube Video For Free?

YouTube only allows users to watch and view videos on their website. Many users want to download their favorite videos to their computer so they can watch them without being connected to the Internet or so they can watch them on other devices. Below are the steps required for downloading and watching YouTube videos on your computer for free. Go to http://www.wisevideosuite.com to download Wise Video Downloader. Open any YouTube video page and copy the URL of the video you want to download. Once this address has been copied, paste that URL into the URL bar and click the Download button. Of course if you want to play the videos downloaded in multiple devices like your PC, your pad or smart phone. You are gonna need to convert them into different formats that is playable on these devices. Then the Convert feature comes in handy. It is a link to Wise Video Converter, which you can also download from http://www.wisevideosuite.com. The best thing about this converter is you don’t have to choose which format you need to convert into. Just drag and drop the video files to the corresponding big icons of devices, and then click Convert. Notice: Not all the videos can be downloaded by Wise Video Downloader. Statistics show that more than 80% of the video files can be downloaded by this software. Please keep this software updated. By default, Wise Video Downloader will download the 1280*720 pixel video.

Ask toolbar is promoted via other free programs and once installed on your computer, they will hijack your browser homepage and replace your default search engine. Sometimes you may find Ask toolbar in your Internet Explorer without you knowing when you installed it. In this article, I will show you how to remove it completely from your IE You may see more than a lot of articles on how to remove Ask toolbar on the internet, but in this one, I am gonna tell you the easiest fix. First you should download Wise Program Uninstaller(http://wisecleaner.com/wiseuninstallerfree.html), a function formidable program uninstaller. Someone may wanna ask, we can uninstall a software in Control Panel, why bother downloading a third party uninstaller. One thing you might not know is the uninstaller built in a software can’t remove a software completely, it might leave behind some residual files, folders or registry. Accumulation of this kind of junk files or registry could lead to a slow computer or even computer crash. After downloading Wise Program Uninstaller, find Ask toolbar in the list. Of course if you have a lot of programs, you can just quick search it. When you find it, single click it, you will see a key called Safe Uninstall, single click it, it will automatically execute the built-in uninstaller of Ask toolbar. When this process is finished, Wise Program Uninstaller will analyze all the associated files, folders and registry entries, and present you a list of the analyzing result. You can just click Remove to erase all these useless files. Then you will find the toolbar is already gone from your IE browser. One more thing How do I change Ask.com default home page or search engine in Internet Explorer? Internet Explorer allows you to change your browser home page at any time. In the upper right corner of your Internet Explorer browser window, select the gear icon (as shown below), and then "Internet Options" from the drop down menu. If you cannot find the gear icon, find the row of menus across the top of your computer screen such as File, Edit, View, etc. Click on the menu that says Tools, and from that Tools menu, click on Internet Options. Then proceed to the next step. Find the section marked "Home page." When you first open Internet Options, the entire home page address should be highlighted in light blue; type the backspace key on your keyboard to delete it. Alternately, use your mouse to select the entire address you see beginning with "http://www.search.ask.com" and delete it with the backspace key. Then, type your desired home page in that space--for example, if you'd like Yahoo as your homepage, type in www.yahoo.com. Once you have typed in your preferred homepage, click "Apply" and then click "OK." That's it for your default homepage settings! After making the change to your default homepage, you'll need to open a new Internet Explorer window to see the change. Changing your homepage setting doesn't retroactively affect pages you already had open prior to making the change.

How to remove unwanted items on desktop?

The desktop is the mainstay for all users of laptop and desktop computers -- it's the place to store temporary files, post notes and do all the tasks that computer users do. Some people don't mind if their desktop is cluttered with lots of icons, while others feel the need to have a clean slate to work with. If you're having issues with deleted or unwanted items on your desktop -- including links to things you may have downloaded -- it can be frustrating when they won't go away. To fix the problem, start with the simple stuff and then move on to more involved steps for removing those unwanted items. Right-Click · The first thing to try is to send the file to the trash. To do this, right-click on the file on the desktop and then select "Move to Trash" or a similar function from the menu that appears. In the best-case scenario, the item will peacefully be moved to your computer's trash; if not, you may see an error message that will give you information about how to remove the item. Task Manager · If the item is in use, it may not move to the trash until you close it from the location where it is in use; this means you have to know where the item is in use. One way to find out is to look at the Windows Task Manager, which shows you all the current processes, programs and activity currently happening on your computer. To open it, right-click on your taskbar and then select "Task Manager." From there you'll be able to remove or delete any of the unwanted items. Download Manager · If you've stopped a download in the middle of the download process, you may be encountering issues because the file is only partially loaded. One possible solution to this may be to remove it from your from your Web browser and find your downloads. Click on the name of the item that is stuck on your desktop -- if it's listed there -- and then press "Delete." Add/Remove · Another option is to try removing the icon using your computer's Add/Remove function, which can safely remove applications. On a Windows computer, select "Control Panel" from the Start menu and then click "Uninstall a program." Look for the program or item you want to remove and click "Uninstall." If this process does not work, try a third-party removal tool such as Wise Registry Cleaner to scan and remove junk items.

Instead of buying a new computer, adding RAM is often the most cost-effective upgrade you can make to speed up a sluggish computer. You may see a lot of similar articles on the internet, but they all seem a little bit complicated for normal users. Follow the next easy steps to upgrade your RAM: 1. Check how many memory slots the motherboard has Most computer motherboards have two, three, or four memory slots. Some higher end motherboards have as many as six, or possibly even eight memory slots. This is the total number of slots available. Unless you are using a very old computer, you will have to change the RAM. If there is one more slot for adding one memory, you don’t have to reinstall the system. 2. Find Out the Maximum RAM Capacity for Your System Determine if Windows is 32-bit or 64-bit. Download Wise Care 365, click Hardware Overview in System Monitor, you will see the info of your operating system. 32-bit can support up to 4 GB of RAM. In fact, 32-bit Windows is limited to accessing 3.2GB of that 4GB). 64-bit can support up to 128 GB of RAM or even more than that. 3. Find Out the maximum RAM capacity for your mainboard In Wise Care 365, check the Mainboard in System Monitor, you will see your mainboard type. Google it to find the spec of it. You will see the maximum RAM capacity for your mainboard. 4. Find out the right type of RAM for your computer Call me preachy but please first know if you are buying a RAM for your laptop or desktop. In most cases, they are different. Most motherboards accept only one type of RAM, if you're buying new RAM, you're probably going to make your life a lot easier by buying the exact same model as you currently have in your machine, but they don’t have to be the same brand. Check the Memory info in System Monitor and buy the RAM that has the same speed and memory type so that it will be compatible with your computer.

    How to recover deleted files?

Lost files can usually be recovered—if you discover the loss soon enough. But every time you write to the hard drive, you lower the likelihood of a successful recovery. So use that computer as little as possible when you want to recover lost files unless you’ve given up hope. Try these solutions, in this order: Use Wise Jet Search There is a little chance that you placed the lost file somewhere else, but you are not sure where. In that case you will have to search the whole computer. With Wise Jet Search you can find any file in your computer unless the file is hidden or in the Recycle Bin. Users can also choose the file type or type in the keywords to narrow down the search. If you can’t find, read on. Check the Recycle Bin Windows stores “deleted” files here as a safety measure. You’ll find the icon in the upper-left corner of your screen. if you find the files there, select them, right-click them, and choose Restore. Use your backup If you back up your hard drive—or at least your libraries—on a regular basis, your files are probably preserved there. I don’t know which backup program you use, so I can’t tell you exactly how to search for and recover the files. It’s generally a pretty intuitive process. And if you don’t back up, maybe it’s time to get into the habit. It won’t help you this time, but it could the next. Try file recovery software Even a file that’s no longer in the Recycle Bin may still exist. Windows doesn’t overwrite the actual ones and zeros until another file needs the drive space. That’s why I told you to avoid using the PC as much as possible. There are several good file recovery programs available. I recommend Wise Data Recovery. It’s easy to use and has a recoverability analysis feature showing users how likely they are going to recover the deleted or lost file. And it also has a portable version, which means that you don’t have to install it, you can use it on your PC without writing to the hard drive. Download the program on another computer, and unzip it to a folder on a flash drive. Then plug the flash drive into the PC with the missing files, and run it from there. Hire a professional (last resort) This is the last resort, if none of the above suggestions work. There are many data recovery services available, and since your drive is still working, you probably don’t need one of the more expensive ones.

This is NOT a PortableApps.com problem. This is a Wise problem. Sure, the menu platform is that of PortableApps.com ... but, the particular Wise Registry Cleaner 9.41.612 in there is NOT a PortableApps.com version. Not every App that you see there in the menu in the screen cap is a PortableApps.com version. The latest version that PortableApps.com has currently is version 9.35. So no, the version there in my menu showing the NON-ideal title is not the PortableApps.com version. It is the Wise version. I can't remember where I got it. If I had to guess, it might have been Major Geeks or Softpedia.

    Problem with the Forums' Functionality?

I don't know if it's just on my side, but I've been noticing some problems with the functionality of the forums. (1) If I try to post a reply in a thread via the "Reply to this topic" box at the bottom of the thread ... nothing happens. The reply doesn't remotely attempt to get posted. I end up having to use the Black "Reply to this topic" BUTTON at the upper right of the page. (2) The next issue: Well, I was planning on attaching a screen capture image to show the problem that I'm encountering, but the problem is that I'm not being allowed to attach an image because the problem IS right at that area. So, I'll try to explain the problem. Right there at the "Attach Files" area at the bottom left of the reply box ... where the "Choose Files" BUTTON is --- some other text that appears to read "uldn't load plug" is being superimposed on the Choose Files BUTTON. This is rendering the Choose Files BUTTON non-functional. In case it helps zero in on the problem --- I am using Windows XP Pro SP3. I am using the latest version of avast Free Anti-Virus. I am using NetZero Dial Up Internet.

    Problem with the Forums' Functionality?

Ooooooo! Heyyy! BAMM! Bingo! Good call, Xilolee. That was the problem. I am now typing this reply from my secondary / backup browser --- Opera 36.0.2130.65 and the problems have been neutralized. Cuz actually, there was even a third issue I hadn't even mentioned, but it's now been fixed as well with the use of Opera. That third symptom was that the Attributes Bar wouldn't even display. So when you mentioned trying that button above the BOLD button, I immediately went, "What BOLD button? I can't even get the Attributes Bar to display anymore." Anyway, my normal browser is Maxthon Cloud 4.9.4.2000. That is the browser with which I was getting those 3 problems. It's possible that the culprit is THAT specific version of Maxthon, its latest. I say this because I know I didn't used to experience those problems before and that's probably because before, I used to use the 4.9.3.1000 version of Maxthon Cloud. A bit later and into the evening, let me experiment by going back to that 4.9.3.1000 version of Maxthon and see if that fixes the problems Maxthon wise. If that gets things working back to normal, I guess I'll then go to the Maxthon forums and inform them of the incompatibility issues or just plain ole BUG. I'll let you know the verdict sometime later, Xilolee. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

And what browser? There are some incompatibilities when using MSIE11, but it doesn't work on XP SP3. Did you try to click the button "switch editor to source/WYSIWYG mode"? It's the grey button above the BOLD button.

Some users may encounter this kind of problem: For example, you added a 2 GB DDR3 RAM to the windows 7 laptop which has only 2 GB of RAM( also DDR3 of course). After you properly installed the new RAM, you check the property of computer, it still shows you only have 2GB RAM instead of 4GB. Here is one solution: 1: Click Start menu, inside search field type msconfig and press Enter 2: Choose Boot tab 3: Click on the Advanced Options button 4: Once new window open check the field Maximum memory 5: To save your changes click OK and restart your computer Next time when you run your computer, from your desktop Right mouse click on My Computer and choose Properties. From here you can see whether your Windows 7 now uses maximum available RAM.

When I click on the RAM usage number and CPU usage graph on the widget (Float Window) the individual programs using the most of each pop up with their usage. This is good. However, the usage numbers remain stagnate' i.e. unchanged which means real-time numbers are not showing for each program but only a snaphshot of what the numbers were when I clicked on the widget ISTM that the numbers for each program should change in real-time after you click on RAM and CPU. Also the graph is too small to be meaningful. I would show a number for CPU usage number in the widget rather than the graph. Widget can be moved to a second monitor and appears to work fine. However, I have not tested to see if the widget remains after a restart or cold boot in the same location on the monitor where I had moved it to before the restart or cold boot. W8.1 Updated Intel i5 with Intel graphics card on monitor 1920 x 1080 That is it for now.

There is a problem to get integrated graphic card temperature, we are working hard to fix it. 3. About language option.
